Our SWL Coordinator Karena Kerr recently caught up with Wonthaggi Secondary College students Ned and Kurt, who have been out erecting new power lines as part of their SWL placement with AusNet Services Leongatha. The boys said they are really enjoying the program which has given them an opportunity to experience working in the energy industry and also finding out about the different jobs available. SWL placements are a great opportunity for students to gain valuable experience and for host employers to invest in their future workforce.
